A white surface hides the ground underneath
Depth and softness are different properties. A drift may conceal compacted layers, ice or objects, and its appearance from above cannot establish a suitable landing surface. The old caption’s casual invitation to jump has been removed.
The video is best understood as a recorded stunt. Its camera position creates anticipation by showing the drop before the movement, but neither the edit nor a successful outcome supplies the information needed to assess another location.
