Snow Addiction publishes stories, guides and photography about skiing and snowboarding, ski resorts and mountain destinations, winter weather and snow science, the northern lights, polar and alpine wildlife, and the people who live, work and play in the cold. The site has been online since July 2013.
What we publish
Every article aims to be useful as well as beautiful: real places with their names, heights, distances, history and the best time to go, together with the photographs and videos that make you want to see them. When a story starts with a viral photo or video, we explain who made it, where it was taken and the facts behind it.
How we write and check our articles
- Original writing. Every article is written in our own words. When a photo, video or story comes from someone else, we name and link the original creator.
- Facts first. We check names, dates, numbers and quotes against reliable sources such as official tourism, park and government websites, UNESCO, research papers and reputable news organisations, and we list our sources at the end of each article.
- Kept up to date. Prices, seasons and rules change. We update articles when we learn that something has changed, and we welcome corrections from readers.
- Honest about links. Some links are affiliate links. They never decide what we write. See our Terms and Disclaimer.

Snow Addiction is part of a small family of independent websites founded by Alkis Sarantopoulos and provided by RATEBLUE LTD, together with Thinking Humanity, Travel the Whole World and the weather site Xionia. You can follow us on Facebook.
