The water in the lake is very clear and with numerous sandy beaches makes a great bathing experience. It is also famous for the amazing panoramic views, that feature mountains, surrounding the lake from all sides.

Today the area is a popular recreational site, that provides a variety of water sports that attract many tourists. In summer many events take place here, that include sport matches and even the Shakespeare Festival. In winter tourists are offered to try out the exciting skiing tracks on the hills and mountains around the lake. Visitors can also hike, bicycle and gamble at the casinos.
