Anton Pankov’s film turns a detached sheet of ice into an unconventional setting for a trip with friends. From above, the small patch of activity contrasts with the dark water surrounding it.

The moving setting is the whole premise
A floating ice sheet is not the same thing as a campsite beside a frozen lake. Its position and condition can change, and the film does not supply measurements that establish how it behaved throughout the outing.
Treat the scene as a documentary curiosity
Thickness cannot be reliably judged from the camera view, and an apparently calm surface does not make a detached floe a suitable recreational platform. There is no need to turn the film into instructions to enjoy its striking perspective. Compare how the group’s scale changes as the camera moves away from them.
