Amazing Landscapes and All Year Round Activities at Oeschinen Lake, Switzerland
Found in an elevation of 1,578 m (5,177 ft), the lake is a real mountain jewel, protected by UNESCO. Oeschinen is fed by a fresh underground water and is rich of various fish. Fishing is a popular activity here, especially in winter, when the lake is covered by thick ice.
The whole area is also love by hikers and skiers. The breathtaking landscape attracts many tourists all year round. In summer it is all green and flowery, suitable to have an exhilarating hike in a fresh alpine air, while in winter skiing, snowboarding and ice fishing attract winter lovers. There is even an exciting cable car lift to the lake!

When to go there?: Anytime of the year.
How to get there?: Get to Oeschinensee town center or Kandersteg by car, bus or train. Get to the lake by foot. There is a taxi for seniors or disabled people.

Amazing post! I got my Visa to Switzerland a few weeks ago. But I would love to visit Switzerland. I will try to contact the embassy and get a Schengen visa to explore both the countries with my best friends.
