WestJet Christmas Miracle: Real-Time Giving! Probably The Best Video Of 2013

The airline spent four months putting together a stunt to fulfill the Christmas wishes of 250 lucky passengers on two flights to Calgary, according to The Calgary Sun. First guests were greeted by Santa on a large screen when they entered the airport. Interacting with the guests in real time, Santa greeted them by name, and asked them what they wanted for Christmas. Meanwhile, off-screen, volunteer "elves" took notes.

When the flights took off, the elves drove to stores with the Christmas lists, and bought each of the gifts passengers had asked for. When the flights landed, the unsuspecting passengers had a big surprise waiting for them at baggage claim.

Passengers got everything from underwear and socks to a big screen TV, and everyone was surprised and happy as snow confetti fell from the ceiling and they were greeted by the blue-clad Santa they had spoken to just hours before.
