Devin Graham turns a snowy slope into an enormous bowling lane in Human Bowling – Bear Naked! The ball is an inflatable sphere, the pins are oversized props, and people become part of the action. It is a simple idea made entertaining by its scale: the familiar layout of a bowling game appears in a landscape where you would normally expect skis or snowboards.
Bowling meets an adventure-film chase
The other reference is the rolling-boulder chase in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Combining that pursuit with bowling gives the film both movement and a destination. The audience understands what is rolling and what it is heading towards without a long explanation. Snow supplies a bright, uncluttered background against which the ball, people and pins remain easy to follow.
This is a produced stunt rather than an organised winter sport with standard rules. The joke about putting it in the Olympics belongs to the film's enthusiastic reception, not to its sporting status. Treat the finished sequence as entertainment: it gives a selected view of the event, while the practical work needed to stage and film it sits mostly outside the action on screen.

What changing the scale does to the joke
Notice how changing the size of the props changes the role of the people around them. In an ordinary bowling alley, a player controls a small ball; here the rolling object dominates the space. That reversal is the heart of the visual gag. Wider shots help establish the arrangement, while closer action can make the same oversized object feel much more immediate.
