Frosted Iceland: My Glacial Roadtrip

I am a 24-year-old photographer from Croatia, currently based in Munich, Germany.

In July of 2013, I took a road trip around the ring road in Iceland to photograph and film breathtaking landscapes. Throughout my journey I explored vigorous waterfalls, elegant fjords, bubbling sulfuric springs, cozy caves and flaming sunsets. While traveling I slept in a twenty year old camper van (the company’s name “Cheap Jeep” perfectly matched the quality of its vehicles).

One of the most fascinating aspects of the scenic landscape were the majestic glaciers, which floated in all shapes and forms on the clear water. The glaciers not only reflected the most beautiful sunsets, but housed multiple birds and seals on their smooth surfaces.
